ZERO WASTE
Zero Overhead Waste Philosophy
In 2016, as hospitals across Venezuela confronted catastrophic shortages of basic clinical supplies, a group of lifelong friends and alumni of Colegio La Salle (Venezuela) gathered in South Florida with a singular conviction: enduring brotherhood and fellowship could be mobilized into a disciplined humanitarian supply chain.
Operating under the rallying emblem of the blue wristband—"Banda Azul"—and the guiding philosophy that #FriendshipWorks, founders Pedro Emilio Moreau, Josefina Renata Bounaccordo, and Yenifer Glorangel Mendez incorporated BANDAZUL, INC. in Florida (Document #N16000007425) and secured federal 501(c)(3) public charity recognition in August 2017.
Unlike general pharmaceutical charities, Bandazul does not distribute commercial prescription drugs. By focusing strictly on high-impact, non-perishable medical equipment—such as hollow-fiber hemodialysis dialyzers, central venous oncology catheters, glucometers, and sterile surgical dressings—we eliminate customs spoilage, prevent black-market diversion, and ensure every airlifted crate is immediately usable at the patient's bedside.
